Next: Share Your Memories and Photographs of Growing Up on the Island.

The Neighborhood Nostalgia Series continues at Lunch With Books at the Ohio County Public Library in Wheeling on Tuesday, March 25 at noon Share your memories and bring photos of life on Wheeling Island to have them scanned. Lunch With Books programs are free and open to the public. Patrons are invited to bring a bag lunch and free beverages are served. The Ohio County Library is a wonderful resource(s) for the entire community.
I do have one small suggestion/observation which is...when on logs-on the public PCs, now, the person's library account number does not key-in as encoded soooooo anyone can read said number; the formerly encrypted system was, IMO, more secure.

Book Discussion Groups

The Ohio County Public Library facilitates book discussion groups for both young adults and adults. Currently, the OCPL offers two adult groups, which meet on the first Monday and third Thursday of each month.

In addition to its own growing collection, the OCPL has access to the book discussion collection of the West Virginia Library Commission.
