Rea Redd, Director of Eberly Library at Waynesburg University where he also serves as an instructor of American history, will return to explore the critical events of 1861-1863: the key military strategies and tactics that led to the battles and naval blockade; battlefield medicine; the financing of the war; the resistance to the war; the importance of the U.S. navy on the rivers and the ocean; and the idea of turning points.
