EARLY WHEELING ON FILM

Jim Thornton of Creative Impressions Studios will be at the Ohio County Public Library’s Lunch With Books program on Tuesday, July 31st at noon to screen the fascinating DVD entitled, Early Wheeling. The DVD features over 200 still images of the city accompanied by audio accounts from the people who lived in the Wheeling during those days. The interviews were recorded as a part of the Spoken Word oral history project. Creative Impressions has published several books and videos on Wheeling’s history, including Doc Williams: Looking Back, Greetings From Wheeling: Historic Postcards, and Wheeling Island: A Photographic History.
