Mary Todd Lincoln will visit Lunch With Books at the Ohio
County Public Library in Wheeling on Tuesday, March 11 at noon. Mrs. Lincoln's story mirrors the pain and loss suffered by many Americans as
a result of the Civil War. She endured the death of three of her sons, saw her
husband murdered, and was later committed to an insane asylum by her surviving
son. She is portrayed by JoAnn Peterson through the WV Humanities Council’sHistory Alive program. Lunch With Books programs are free and open to the
